About Me
Hi! My name is Nicole Patricio-Agosto, and I am from Lima, Ohio which is a small suburb in Northwestern Ohio. My pet cat Leia and my family are among the things I love most. I am also a proud Filipina and Puerto Rican and because of this, I love experiencing different cultures through traveling. It has always been one of my passions in life.
In my fourth year, I am majoring in Accounting and International Business with a Business Spanish Certificate. Math has always been my forte, and Spanish has always been an interest as I am half Latina. I am in Lindner Business Honors and the University Honors Program. I have always had a high standard for academic success, and these programs reflect my dedication. Along with this, I am a proud member of Lindner Inclusive Excellence's Business Fellows and its former Vice President of Mentoring. I enjoy being a part of something that strives for equity and fairness for minorities. I have also served as Lindner Student Association's Internal Vice President for the 2022-2023 term. As Lindner's Student Government, I worked to build community within the college and specifically focused on retention and recruitment. Along with these leadership roles, I worked as a PACE Leader for the College of Business for two semesters where I served as a mentor to transfer students by facilitating weekly recitations for their semester-long project. Because of my passion for immersing myself in culture, I am a member of the University of Cincinnati’s Pinoy American Student Organization. This group helps me to stay in touch with a side of me that I identify strongly with. I have been honored with the opportunity to be a part of Sigma Phi a Women's Honorary and lastly, I am a brother in the Delta Sigma Pi (DSP) - Alpha Theta Chapter. DSP is a professional business fraternity that exemplifies the four pillars of Professionalism, Service, Fundraising, and Brotherhood in everyday life. I keep very busy on campus and when I am not working, I love to hang out with friends and eat, especially sushi and tacos. I am grateful for all the lessons learned here, and I look forward to what my future holds at UC.
